2027 STUDIO · MIAMI
Original stories.
A new
production model.
An independent production studio developing and producing original entertainment IP through a flexible system combining generative AI, physical production and conventional post.
Lower production cost. Faster iteration.
IP built to travel across formats and markets.
02 / THE SLATE
Selected original propertiesOne studio.
Different story worlds.
03 / THE PRODUCTION MODEL
Story-led. Model-independent.Build the story.
Choose its format.
2027 Studio develops original IP and chooses the production pathway that best serves each property.
Reusable characters, environments, and documented workflows carry learning from one title to the next. SILVER establishes cost per finished minute, revision rate, and delivery time.
01 AI video
Generative shots and digital environments, directed and finished by a human creative team.
02 Hybrid / physical production
Live action, practical production, and generative elements combined around the needs of the story.
03 Conventional post
Editorial, sound, color, and finishing support consistent quality across production approaches.
04 Interactive IP Development Emerging
Contained playable and social experiences can test engagement and inform later adaptations. This expands a story-IP studio; it does not reposition 2027 Studio as a game studio.
Platform licensing / Territory and language rights / Co-production
04 / INTERACTIVE IP DEVELOPMENT
Emerging capabilityTHE FIRST ILLUSTRATIVE TEST
A story world
you can enter.
Claw is the proposed first contained interactive experience.
A small playable prototype would test engagement, social discovery, and the potential for future screen adaptation. Scope and platform access still need to be confirmed.
Separate pilot budget. No interactive revenue assumed in the core plan.
- Original IP
- Interactive Experience
- Social Distribution
- Audience Data
- Monetization
- Screen Adaptation
A potential development pathway, not a forecast of commercial outcomes.
05 / THE CAPITAL PLAN
Planning assumptions · USDProve the model.
Then build capacity.
The base case separates the six-month SILVER proof from an 18-month studio stage. Interactive development remains an optional project budget.
SILVER proof, contract AI production lead, tools, audience and commercial tests.
Studio team, tools, equipment, overhead and deferred founder salary. Later slate projects financed individually.
WHAT THE CAPITAL FUNDS
A defined proof first. Studio capacity next.
The $744,974 core plan funds two sequential stages. It includes the SILVER proof and the studio’s operating capacity. Later slate productions and an optional interactive pilot need separate project financing.
Six-month proof stage · $124,974
| Contract AI production lead | $31,500 |
|---|---|
| SILVER incremental production | $30,000 |
| AI tools, software and cloud | $11,400 |
| Workstations and storage | $12,000 |
| Flexible workspace | $3,000 |
| Development and rights | $6,000 |
| Legal, accounting and insurance | $12,000 |
| Audience testing | $6,000 |
| Distribution and business development | $6,000 |
| Central contingency · 6% | $7,074 |
| Total pre-seed cash | $124,974 |
SILVER targets a 5–8 minute proof with shorter derivatives. Its $30,000 production allowance is included above and released in $5,000 / $10,000 / $15,000 stages against creative and cost review. Founder salary accrues as a $30,000 liability during pre-seed and is repaid from seed.
Audience testing measures completion, return viewing and next-episode starts. Commercial outreach tests paid-pilot and licensing interest.
18-month studio stage · $620,000
| Founder / creative executive · 18 months | $90,000 |
|---|---|
| AI production director / technical lead · 18 months | $165,000 |
| Editor / finishing producer · 12 months | $85,000 |
| Payroll burden · 15% | $51,000 |
| Equipment and infrastructure | $55,000 |
| Workspace | $22,500 |
| Legal, accounting and insurance | $36,000 |
| General operations | $27,000 |
| AI, software and cloud | $34,000 |
| Operating cushion | $34,500 |
| Studio planning target | $600,000 |
| Equipment already funded in pre-seed | − $12,000 |
| Deferred pre-seed founder salary repayment | + $30,000 |
| Calculated seed requirement | $618,000 |
| Rounded seed planning amount | $620,000 |
The finishing role begins around month 7, subject to utilization. Salaries, payroll burden and supplier allowances require validation. Baseline salaries, equipment and subscriptions must not be charged again to project budgets.
Separate financing and research assumptions
Later slate productions cover incremental actors, crew, locations, props, specialist finishing, generation, rights, sound and project marketing. Financing may come through project investors, commissions, co-production or licensing. Any additional working-capital reserve needs its own justification.
Research informs format, production and distribution choices. Audience and commercial testing have explicit pre-seed allowances; the model does not contain a separate general market-research budget. Public market estimates and reported production budgets are context, not 2027 Studio revenue forecasts or contracted prices.
SILVER must establish fully loaded cost per finished minute, revision rates, delivery time and audience response before repeat-production economics or expansion are assumed. No interactive revenue is included.
Basis: corrected two-stage capital workbook, September 24 base case; operating-model memo, September 23; interactive planning direction, September 25. See Presentation sources for research references.
EXPLORE A SEPARATE INTERACTIVE PILOT
What would a first test add?
No interactive pilot is funded in the base plan.
$744,974
OPTIONAL INTERACTIVE PILOT+ $0
No interactive revenue included.
Preliminary internal planning ranges: Test $5K–$10K; Pilot $15K–$30K; Commercial test $40K–$75K. Alternatives, not cumulative budgets or vendor quotes. Changes here are illustrative and do not modify the workbook.

WHAT THE FIRST STAGE MUST PROVE
- SILVER meets creative and continuity standards.
- Cost per finished minute and revision rates are measured.
- Audience tests and platform conversations inform the next stage.
